We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who will be responsible for valuate and build structures and systems of multidisciplinary design, plan and prioritize work and collaborate closely with visual design, project management teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, end-to-end UX solutions for the customer and business problems they are solving.

Responsibilities

• Create harmonious solutions that deliver great user experiences on smartphones, tablets, and desktops/laptops.
• Plan, facilitate and conduct research with end users and stakeholders.
• Organize and apply human centered design methods in projects.
• Define the user experience design through information architecture, wireframes and user flows and validate it through usability testing.
• Create interactive product prototypes.
• Ensure that every aspect of the user interface can be delivered correctly by providing information architecture documents, annotated wireframes, user flows to visual designers, developers, and QA teams.
• Articulate hard-to-see aspects of a product user experience through experience maps, user journeys, and conceptual designs.
• Participate brainstorming sessions and design reviews for UX team.
• Choose the right communication methods, cadence, and deliverables to convey progress and concerns to internal and external stakeholders.
• Seek design critiques actively to improve the quality of the work produced, and grow with the feedback.

Skill & Experience / Qualifications

• 5+ years experience of User Experience Design and Research with consumer applications.
• Strategic understanding and expert knowledge of user experience design processes.
• Strategic thinker with broad experience, capable of effectively configuring and deploying different qualitative and quantitative research methods, as appropriate to the project vision and goals.
• Talent and passion for design research – creating exciting and engaging user experiences.
• Design experience in mobile platforms, web, and desktop applications.
• Proficiency in design tools (Sketch, Adobe CC, and other design tools).
• Generally up to date with the design trends in the space.
• Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• BA degree in Design (e.g. industrial, product, interaction, service Design), HCI, or a related field.
• MA /MS degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Current Portfolio.

We are seeking a high potential Senior UI Designer who is enthusiastic to create compelling designs for digital platforms that are intuitive and useful to millions of people.

As a Senior UI designer, you will translate user needs and requirements into designs that are visually exciting, emotionally engaging and easy to use for delivering purposeful solutions to Commencis’ clients in various domains, including but not limited to finance, banking, insurance, loyalty etc.

You will be a part of the team that is pushing the state-of-the-art with every digital product and experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to pursue your interest across industries and execute all design stages from concept to final product, leveraging Commencis experience, state-of-the-art processes and collaboration among a team of skilled and passionate members of various disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Create UI designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity with end-users.
• Transform low-fidelity wireframes into high-fidelity user experiences across digital platforms by designing screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, motion graphics, animation effects and icons.
• Able to create expressive, highly optimized graphics for mobile, the web or virtually any device from smartphones to embedded displays.
• Create prototypes, mock-ups, and sketches, and communicate with users and the client team.
• Gather user feedback and reflect feedback into design output.
• Clarify functional requirements, interaction behavior and other design considerations iteratively throughout new product and feature design phases resulting in complete and comprehensive designs.
• Effectively work with and participate as a contributor to a multi-disciplinary team that includes UX Designers, business analysts, product owners, software engineers, project managers and QA engineers.
• Follow up on the latest design trends, techniques and technologies.

Skill & Experience / Qualifications

• An online portfolio demonstrating a passion for digital product development, and experience in diverse content and subject matter.
• BA Degree in Graphic Design / Visual Design / A related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in designing visual language systems for digital products.
• A love of collaboration, self-growth and learning.
• Proficiency in design tools and software.
• A passion to learn and keep up with design and technology trends.
• Design experience in mobile platforms, web, and desktop applications.
• Proficiency in design tools (wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps).
• Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills.
