Solutions Shaping the Future of Artificial Intelligence Discussed at the Commencis AI NOW Summit

Commencis AI NOW Summit, organized in partnership with AWS and Mastercard, took place on November 26 with broad participation from industry representatives, technology leaders, and the business community. With over 300 attendees and 15 sessions, the event explored various use cases of artificial intelligence and shared real-world examples. The impact of Commencis’ next-generation AI solutions on different industries was discussed in detail.

The event began with an opening session by Commencis Chairman and Dataroid CEO Fatih İşbecer. In his remarks, İşbecer emphasized the influence of AI on the business world and underlined the conditions necessary for AI to create real value. He highlighted that this transformation must be embraced by decision-makers, monitored with determination, supported by motivated teams, and backed by strategic investments in AI. He also stressed the importance of forming a team not only of technical experts but also of qualified leaders who understand business dynamics and can effectively manage the transformation.

Following the opening, Commencis CIO Duru Kızılkayak presented comprehensive examples on how AI agents are redefining ways of working, customer interactions, and operational processes, and shared the latest use-cases of AI agents across various industries.

In the panel moderated by Commencis CEO Fırat İşbecer, AWS Turkey Country Manager Berrin Özselçuk discussed AWS’s AI strategy, infrastructure investments, and how organizations and leadership are transforming in the era of artificial intelligence.

Later in the program, Commencis teams hosted parallel sessions to showcase the products and solutions developed under ‘Commencis AI’, explaining how AI is transforming work practices from software development and testing to product design and marketing. Through the session featuring ‘Enterprise Data Agent’ built with Commencis and Mastercard’s ‘Agentic Commerce’ initiatives, the Mastercard team introduced new AI approaches for the rapidly evolving demands of the business world.

The participants also had the opportunity to experience several products developed by Commencis. They interacted with our smart travel assistant Trip Concierge, explored UserHear, our AI solution that goes beyond store ratings to interpret emotions, needs, and suggestions; engaged with our Digital Human assistant that redefines customer interactions; discovered the autonomous race car AWS DeepRacer, and met Robodog Astro, trained by the Commencis AI team.

Glyphtrack: An AI Project Awarded Second Place in OpenAI’s Global Competition
In the closing panel, the Commencis AI team took the stage to present Glyphtrack, the project that earned them second place globally in OpenAI’s “OpenAI to Z Challenge.” Joined by archaeologist and academic Dr. Güneş Duru, the panel explained the development process and technical architecture behind this AI solution, which accelerates archaeological excavation processes and reduces error rates.
