This position requires the ability to take incoming trouble calls, using Commencis ticket system, troubleshoot the problem and provide resolution in a timely manner.
Know-how MS applications and imaging/ghosting procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work independently to research and resolve complex technical issues; clearly communicate technical solutions and provide individual end user training as needed.
- Effectively provide support over the phone, in person and online.
- Capturing and documenting the details of technical issues, as well as the troubleshooting steps taken; the Helpdesk Ticketing system will be used to track, and route problems and request.
- Must understand escalation procedures.
- Be able to analyze, log, track and resolve software/hardware matters pertaining to network connectivity issues, printer, and other software applications.
- Be familiar with Windows, OS X, iOS, Android, MS-Office and know imaging, ghosting and backup procedures. Providing support for email clients: Outlook on Windows and Outlook on Mac.
- Generate, track and close trouble support tickets for all IT related issues in a timely manner.
- Smartphone (iOS/ Android) Exchange Mail configurations/troubleshooting as needed.
- Video Conferencing equipment setup/troubleshooting.
- Inventory management – restocking, imaging, asset tagging.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Handheld devices
- Familiarity with remote support tools.
- Natural problem solver
- Experience in troubleshooting, installingand connecting equipment and software.
- Keep up-to-date with technology changes.
- Eager to learn new technologiesandan ability to learn them fast.
- Proactive and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
- Must be able to perform physical activities, such as but not limited to; lifting heavy equipment (up to 30kg), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
- Position requires the candidate to be able to work beyond the normal workday to support any computer issues that may arise.
