We’re looking for an Accountant who assists our Finance Department in creating timely and accurate financial statements, billing and special financial projects.

Job Description

• Organize the daily accounting operations by managing general bookkeeping, creditors, debtors, bank accounts and personnel expense forms.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
• Prepare monthly tax filings, BA-BS forms and account reconciliations.
• Deal with customer/supplier questions regarding billing, payment and reconciliation issues.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Maintain financial security by following Company’s internal controls.
• Comply with local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

Qualifications

• Vocational School or University degree on Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in Turkish GAAP and local regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a service company (technology sector experience is an asset).
• Competent in accounting software program (knowledge of SAP is an asset).
• Good command of MS Office Applications.
• A good team player with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to respond to changing priorities, multiple tasks and demands within short timeframes.
