Future Commencer 2025: Highlights from Commencis’ Summer Internship Program

Future Commencer has always been our way of welcoming young people who are curious about technology and eager to gain real experience. The 2025 edition of our internship program took place between 7 July and 15 August, bringing together 35 talented interns across our Engineering, Product, QA, Cloud, and Design teams. Our goal was to provide an inspiring and supportive environment where interns could explore different roles, learn directly from experienced professionals, and contribute to meaningful, real-world projects.

Throughout the six-week program, interns worked closely with their mentors, holding regular check-ins to review project milestones, address challenges, and receive constructive feedback. The journey began with a full-day onboarding session designed to help interns feel at home, meeting their mentors and teammates, participating in icebreaker activities, and gaining an overview of Commencis’ culture and ways of working.

During the program, interns also had the opportunity to join a dedicated Q&A session with our CEO, where they could ask questions, gain insights into Commencis’ vision and strategy, and better understand the values shaping our culture.

Each intern took ownership of a team-aligned project, gaining hands-on experience while making tangible contributions in their field. On the final day of the program, interns presented their projects to their mentors and teams, showcasing what they had built and reflecting on the skills, knowledge, and experiences they gained throughout the program.

Selection Process and What’s Next

The 2025 selection process included an assessment exam followed by interviews with shortlisted candidates. For technical roles, having previous project experience or self-initiated learning was an advantage. More broadly, we looked for curiosity, eagerness to learn and an interest in building new skills.
