Job description

We are looking for a Key Account Manager who plays a key role in driving client’s strategy. Key Account Manager gather, define, and clarify the insights that drive our creative solutions and help us make a difference in our client’s business. It is expected that the successful candidate will be a well-respected and well networked professional.
You like working closely with strategists, user experience architects and creative designers to show how technology can solve challenges for businesses and for people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, stakeholder interviews, brainstorming sessions, and on digital projects conducting things like, features and functionality workshops.
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Assemble strategic insights into presentation materials for senior level clients.
  • Keep abreast of emerging behaviors, technologies, and companies that are changing our client’s businesses.
  • Act as an internal resource, championing our content / storytelling / digital innovation whenever possible.
  • Lead or collaborate client engagements on a day to day basis.
  • Lead or collaborate with pm and tech team members on troubleshooting customer inquiries.
  • Focus on new and existing sales opportunities that drive the expansion of the Commencis accounts.
  • Leads proposal and quotation process.
  • Participates in contract negotiations through entire negotiation process proactively working with the customer defining contract terms and successfully closing the sale.
  • Prepare and conduct periodic business reviews.
  • Coordinate the execution of sales and marketing activities, monitor sales budget, trade partnerships and key account annual agreements.
  • Understand and actively utilize Commencis products and services.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience on a similar role in an advertising or digital agency and engineering knowledge is a plus.
  • Proven track record in managing and winning major opportunities, with the ability to work unsupervised; ability to interact as a value-added team member.
  • Interest in mobile space and technology. Basic knowledge of software development processes and document management technologies. Understanding and evaluating competitive products.
  • Established credibility regarding your strategic thinking and work.
  • Passionate about working with Creatives to produce great work.
  • Confident and insistent enough to pull off meetings from decision makers, marketing departments and C-level executives.
  • Effective oral presenter—clear, concise business writer.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent presentation skills with an ability to present ideas to brand teams and clients.
  • Experience working on digital projects or accounts with strong digital focus.
