As a Cloud SysOps Engineer, you will be a part of our Cloud Engineering team and will be responsible for the overall health of multiple applications and their operating environments. You will apply your system and network skills working with cloud-based resources to define standards and processes for scalable and reliable applications. You will also be responsible for dealing with an arising issue of the production environments at any given time.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience with Linux System Administration
  • Experience in infrastructure as code technologies like Terraforms, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with at least one of the virtualization platforms (EC2, VMware, oVirt/RHEV, QEMU/KVM)
  • Knowledge onHTTP and related concepts such as reverse proxy, load balancing and caching
  • Experience with web servers such as NGINX, NGINX+, Apache
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, BitBucket CI/CD, GitLab CI/CD
  • Knowledge of Shell scripting such as Bash, Sh, Zsh
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud etc.
  • Experience with migration from On-Prem to Cloud
  • Experience with migration tools such as AWS Migration Services, Velostrata, VMware migration tools
  • Experience with containerized systems will be a plus (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
